It was the former jail of the Town Hall. Today, rehabilitated by the prestigious architect Manuel Gallego Jorreto, the Museum allows us to approach the culture, history and customs of the lands of Bergantiña.

The museum has several rooms dedicated to our region, and one focused on the Costa da Morte. Through them you can learn more about our landscape, our agricultural tradition, bread, which is our star product, or about the history of Carballo.

In the central courtyard you will find several panels about the Carballo-A Coruña trolleybus line, the first road line to be electrified in Spain.
