At 46 metres high and with 213 steps, the Boa Nova Lighthouse is the second tallest on the Portuguese coast, and has been in operation since 1926. Located under the Marina, it can be visited free of charge every Wednesday between 2 and 4 pm, with access to the top by lift. The building also has a small museum, which is also open to visitors, where pieces and mechanisms related to the theme of lighthouses are displayed.
