The Sarria region has a unique landscape, in which A Foz dás Aceas is a reference. On the banks of the Sarria River, a paradise with many secrets yet to be discovered is born. Las Aceas is a beautiful forest that encourages you to walk away from the noise of the town and enjoy nature. On hot summer days its shade shelters us, in autumn it allows us to admire the colourful carpets of fallen leaves and in spring contemplate the rebirth of nature.
It is a circular route of approximately 6 km that has information panels about the route itself, the flora, the fauna, the water, the four mills (Acea de Baixo, Acea de Riba, Muño Conde, Muiño Regueiro) and the five dams that make up the route.
The explanations on the panels are accompanied by small signs with the scientific names of the plants on the trail.
