“El Origen” is the name of a Camino de Santiago that accompanies the body of the Apostle Santiago on his way to what is and means today Compostela.

The name of this Camino de Santiago is based on this story, and thus tells that the body of Santiago the Great was brought from Palestine by his disciples Teodoro and Atanasio in a boat guided by providence, arrived in Galicia, and through the Arousa estuary went up the Ulla River until reaching Iría Flavia, and from there to where he rests today in Compostela.

Travelling this path you will have the privilege of accompanying the arrival in Galicia of the remains of the Apostle, thus remembering the ORIGIN of the Jacobean tradition.
