The “Casa Vaamonde” faces the Rúa Maior and the Praza da Consntitución, and was built at the end of the 19th century, designed by the architect Daniel García Vaamonde, commissioned by his brother Don Camilo.
Since 1920 it has been the Town Hall, being renovated and extended in 1998.
In the Praza da Constitución there is a stone statue commemorating King Alfonso IX, whose death took place in Vilanova de Sárria (24 September 1230).
