The Casca de Carvalho Mill belongs to the parish of Aboim and was inaugurated in June 2014.

This Museum includes an Oak Bark Mill, a unique piece from the Agricultural Museum of Entre Douro and Minho.

At the Mill we can see how oak tree owners used to extract oak bark. All the bark produced was destined for large tanneries located in Guimarães.

This is, above all, another space that celebrates the traditions and memory of the people of Aboim. It is another attraction for the municipality, in an area with unique natural landscapes.
