The Medieval Fair arrived in 2023, after a two-year break due to the pandemic, to its XIX edition, it is held on the weekend of Holy Week and is a real tourist attraction. For two days, Monfortina residents and visitors walk the streets and squares of the old area dressed in period clothing and take part in different activities. Crafts and food stalls decorate the streets and there are falconry shows, fire juggling, archery, musical performances…

In Praza de España, where the Medieval Camp is set up, we have one of the main stages, another point of activity is the adro da Régoa and in the dirt field of the Escolapios, the Medieval Joustas take place where the lords and the people meet to watch the knights fight. The restaurants offer tapas and medieval menus and the streets are decorated for the occasion, turning Monforte into a medieval town worth visiting and enjoying.
