Tradition tells us that the Easter period is one of the times when goat is most appreciated on the tables of the region, which is why the Mirandela City Council, CAPRISSERRA – Cooperativa de Produtores de Cabrito de Raça Serrana and local restaurants have joined forces to organize the Transmontano Cabrito DOP Gastronomic Festival, thus promoting the affirmation of this product as an important element in the local economic structure, as well as a reference gastronomic offer of the highest quality.

During this Gastronomic Festival, participating restaurants will offer roasts, stews and caldeiradas of Transmontano Cabrito on their menus with the DOP quality guarantee, accompanied by other certified products.
