This traditional recipe from Trás-os-Montes, in the north of Portugal, consists of very simple cakes, made with traditional ingredients and whose recipe yields a lot, which makes them effectively economical cakes.

They are dry but very fluffy cakes, making them great for snacks or simply with a cup of tea. They keep for several days, stored in a container.
