Ourense is, by definition, the Thermal province, as it is the territory with the greatest thermal potential in Europe. The various thermal resources of the province are distributed throughout the territory, forming a large network of thermal baths and spas that combine with the enormous heritage and natural potential of the province. In addition to thermal tourism, the province of Ourense is characterized by its enormous wine-growing potential, as it hosts four denominations of origin (Ribeiro, Ribeira Sacra, Monterrei, and Valdeorras), contributing to providing Ourense with a strong and diverse primary sector. In addition to thermal baths and wine, Ourense has a great architectural and natural heritage, highlighting as an example the Ribeira Sacra, a candidate for UNESCO world heritage. Ourense also has the only ski resort in Galicia at Cabeza de Manzaneda, and it is also a reference province at the European level in the field of water sports thanks to the Galicia Nautical Park located in Castrelo de Miño.
