The Andrade Tower is one of the emblems of Vilalba, the monument that shows its past. They are the remains of the ancient fortress of Vilalba whose origin dates from the eleventh century.
After a first stop at the Tower of the Andrade the best plan is to take the opportunity to stroll through the old town, where you can also find the Church of Santa Maria.

Back from a walk through the old town it is interesting to approach the Plaza de la Constitución, crowned by the Town Hall and located next to the Rúa de la Pravia, where you can meet much of the local commerce and hospitality.

For those who prefer natural spaces, there is a fluvial and literary promenade that runs along the Magdalena River, the Paseo de los Sueños. Along its 3 km length you can get to know the existing flora and fauna, taking the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy nature. Always a good plan!

If you start the dream walk in the Muiño del Rañego, the tour ends at the Puente de los Frailes, next to the recreational area of La Magdalena. A natural space with a fluvial beach where the outdoor swimming pools are located and an extensive area covered by trees, perfect for a picnic or a little disconnection.

The ideal is a visit with time and a desire to know the corners of this council, which consists of 29 parishes distributed along its 380 square kilometers of extension that make it the second largest municipality of Galicia. In its parishes there are also unmissable places such as the Alligal pond or the viewpoint of Monte Monseivane.
