The barnacle is one of the star products of the gastronomy of the town of Aguiño. Its importance makes that every year at the end of July it is paid tribute to its excellent quality. The setting chosen for the celebration is the port of Aguiño, the place where the freshly caught crustacean is landed.

Simultaneously, diners can enjoy a sample of Galician folklore with the performance of traditional music groups among other activities, such as the declaration of the Percebeiros of honor of that year.
