Valongo, Northern Portugal
Pedestrian route that connects Parque da Juventude, located next to the access junction to the A4 motorway, in the city of Valongo, with the village of Couce, located at the foot of the Santa Justa mountain range, and from here with the Pias mountain range. It crosses the city’s central urban area and heads towards a fascinating natural landscape. Appreciate all that the mountains have to offer, the fauna and flora, as well as the amazing geological formations. The path can be taken independently, following the signage, or through guided tours, thus enabling a more in-depth knowledge of the environment. It is recommended to wear comfortable and appropriate clothing and footwear.
The Ecological Corridor has an approximate length of 9000m and a low/medium degree of difficulty and is connected to the Yellow and Red Routes.
