Of great tradition in the region, it has a large number of steps, processions and participants, making it one of the most attractive Holy Weeks in Galicia. In 2017 it was declared a Festival of Tourist Interest in Galicia.

The processions of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday stand out, being of special beauty the one known as “Os Caladiños”.
