The white bell pepper of Oímbra (Ourense), also has its gastronomic exaltation and its recognition as a festival of Galician tourist interest. A popular meal in the Carballeira, the first Sunday of August.

Although the main attraction of the fair is the time of the meal, in which neighbors and visitors taste both white peppers and meat, empanada or octopus, the atmosphere is lively from early hours, with competitions of dishes made with white peppers, free tastings of peppers, exhibitors selling handicrafts, farm products and agricultural tools, folkloric performances and even inflatables for children.
