The economic life of Arnoia revolves around two main products: wine and peppers. The 45th Arnoia Pepper Festival is a gastronomic celebration of the Arnoia pepper. During these days, thousands of kilos of fried peppers, stuffed with meat, tuna, and venison, in empanadas, in tortillas, and even in ice cream are consumed. The events will feature brass bands, sports competitions, stalls, folk music, and a dance party. The Arnoia Pepper is undoubtedly the star of this festival, but the municipality’s gastronomic celebration also has another great protagonist, the wine that accompanies the local product is protected by the Ribeiro Designation of Origin.
