The economic life of Arnoia revolves around two main products: wine and peppers.
47th Arnoia Pepper Festival, a culinary celebration of the Arnoia pepper. During the festival, thousands of kilos of fried peppers are consumed—stuffed with meat, bonito, and roe deer; in empanadas; in omelets; and even in ice cream. The festivities will feature brass bands, sports competitions, festival booths, folk music, and a street party.
The Arnoia bell pepper is undoubtedly the protagonist of this festival, but the gastronomic festival of the municipality also has another great protagonist, the wine that accompanies the local product is covered by the Designation of Origin Ribeiro.
