The International Folklore Festival promoted by the Cultural Board of the City of Narón is on its way to reaching its thirtieth edition, which will coincide with the year 2020. An unmissable event for several international formations, this festival brings together dozens of people each year who are part of groups whose members show a part of their culture through music and dance. The event was conceived from its inception as a firm commitment by the Cultural Board of Narón to recover and keep traditional Galician music alive, which with this event shares prominence with that of other autonomous communities and also of various countries and continents.

The Alxibeira Traditional Dance Group and the Bagpipe Band of the Narón Cultural Trust share the stage with different groups and act as hosts in this folk festival held in the town.
