The Meeting of Cultures of the Association of Folklore Groups of Alto Minho (AGFAM), takes place at the Viana do Castelo Cultural Center, on November.

The event includes a showcase of national and international flavors, with the collaboration of local folkloric groups and the young Vivian association Terra de Todos.

The show, in 2024, included 16 groups from AGFAM, the Arte em Movimento dance academy and migrants living in Viana do Castelo, and the presence of the following countries: Armenia, Brazil, Colombia, Italy, São Tomé and Príncipe, Syria , Ukraine and Venezuela.

This initiative aims to value the growing cultural diversity experienced in the municipality of Viana do Castelo, also celebrating new opportunities for learning and cultural enrichment.

On and off the stage, some local traditions and those from other latitudes, can be observed.
