Between October 4th and 12th, the city of Lugo becomes the main festive event of the Galician autumn. With origins in a traditional livestock market, the patron saint festivities of San Froilán continue to maintain their popular character and develop a program rooted in the theme that gave them birth, although with offerings for all audiences. Concerts, street entertainment, children’s shows, livestock market, traditional stalls, and above all, the octopus stands, are the attractions that draw thousands of people to the city each year.

It is declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest.
