Once a year, the Expourense fairgrounds are transformed into a large catering centre with the celebration of Xantar, the city’s main gastronomic fair. A total of twenty restaurants from different regions of Spain, Portugal and Latin America are recreated on 12,000 square metres of covered space, offering menus representative of each local cuisine at fixed prices. A showcase of flavours that has become, over its almost twenty editions, a meeting point for professionals in the tourism and gastronomy sector, but also for lovers of good cuisine, with a wide programme of activities that includes showcookings, tastings, conferences, educational workshops and much more.
