New edition of the Mostra do Aceite de Quiroga to be held on Sunday, March 30 in the parish of Santa María de Bendilló. Those attending this gastronomic event, which will take place in the muíño of the aforementioned parish, will be able to enjoy the events scheduled for the occasion. On the day before the exhibition, Saturday 29th, the II Congreso Arredor do Aceite de Oliva de Quiroga will be held. The congress will take place from 17.00 to 20.30 hours in the Municipal Auditorium and its program will include lectures, a live cooking demonstration with tasting and the musical performance of the bagpipe group O Recanto to close the event.

Sunday 30, from 11.00 a.m. the muíño of Bendilló will be put into operation and the demonstration of the artisanal production of this exceptional oil will begin. In addition, at the same time will proceed to the opening of the stalls selling oil and typical products in the Praza do Auditorio. At 12.00 hours will take place the commented tasting of Quiroga’s oils in the room of the Ethnographic Museum and the beginning of the parade of the formation O Ventosiño through the streets of the town. At 13.30 hours will begin the act of appointment of the I Embaixador do Aceite de Quiroga to the chef Kike Piñeiro, which will offer at 13.45 hours a live cooking demonstration.

At 16.30 hours there will be a new commented tasting of Quiroga oils in the museum hall and at 17.30 hours will begin in the amphitheater the performance of roots music with Xavier Blanco.
