Opened in 1985, the Casa das Ciências was the first of the three science museums in A Coruña. Under the motto “no touching allowed”, it paved the way for the city’s interactive museums.
A unique space to experiment and have fun while learning about science, physics and astronomy. On each floor, different interactive modules await you, as well as exhibitions and activities with themes such as Newton’s law of gravity, the Solar System, the life of astronauts or astrophotography. In the central opening of your staircase you will be surprised to find an impressive Foucault pendulum that explains the rotation of the Earth.
In addition, there is the essential visit to its dome. In the darkness of its Planetarium you can observe the stars, constellations and planets, scheduling sessions adapted to different ages.
