It consists of three walled enclosures where archaeological excavations are uncovering the different constructions that can be observed during the visit. The materials obtained from the excavations are studied and exhibited in the Archaeological and Historical Museum Castle of San Antón, among them, the set of golden pieces known as the “Treasure of Elviña”. The Castro de Elviña is a protohistoric settlement that was inhabited between the 3rd century BC and the 4th century AD. The enclosure consists of three walled spaces. The croa, or highest area, is surrounded by a wall about 4 or 5 meters high and inside it, the small constructions are grouped. The lower terraces show smaller walls and various buildings, such as the unique well-cistern. It is declared a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC).
