Opened on 27 October 2001, this Cultural Centre includes the Museu da Lousa, two auditoriums, one indoor (with 136 seats) and one open-air, where various activities take place, from theatre to dance, music and entertainment. The museum area is organised into four medium-sized houses, built using traditional slate-working techniques, similar to the surrounding wall. This museum space offers guided tours, educational services and workshops adapted to the different ages and desires of those interested, by appointment at the Municipal Museum.
