The result of the rehabilitation of the former barracks of the National Republican Guard, it is now the main playground for creativity. A multidisciplinary space aimed at promoting artistic activities and exploring and disseminating digital arts.

The result of Braga 2012 – European Youth Capital, gnration is a space for creation, performance and exhibition in the field of contemporary music and the relationship between art and technology.

Through a sustained strategy of permanent openness to the community, it aims to establish itself as a hub of cultural and creative dynamics, assuming itself as a space aimed at raising awareness and training new audiences, exposing them to relevant artistic practices from a contemporary and cosmopolitan perspective.

Since 2021, gnration is a member of the Rede de Teatros e Cineteatros Portugueses – RTCP.
