In a peri-urban setting, on a plain, isolated, separated by a landscaped and walled cemetery, with a cross, and access by stairs, stands the Church of Santa María de Silva Escura, built between the 17th and 18th centuries.
With a longitudinal plan, it consists of a rectangular nave and chancel, a quadrangular bell tower along the main façade, with the vestry also attached and marking a slightly prominent body on the façade. It has a baroque organ on a blue painted base, symmetrically placed side altars, and a pulpit on the Epistle side. In the 1960s the floor was replaced and the tile panel was installed; and in 1997 the high choir was replaced and the figurative tile panels were fixed in the main chapel.
