A small, rural-style late Romanesque church that still contains many of its architectural elements, mural paintings and sepulchral remains, including two sarcophagi with monolithic gabled lids, dating from the time of its construction at the end of the 13th century.
Benefiting from being the presentation church of the Monastery of Santa María de Pombeiro, its reformulations and decorations accompany the works carried out in the monastery until the extinction of the religious orders in 1834.
This church has been listed as a Monument of Public Interest since 24 December 2012.
