The Museum of Fine Arts of A Coruña is one of the main cultural centers of the city. Inaugurated in 1947, the museum is housed in a neoclassical-style building designed by the architect Manuel Gallego Jorreto. Its collection spans from the 15th century to the present, featuring works by Galician, Spanish, and international artists. Highlights include pieces by Francisco de Goya, Joaquín Sorolla, and Galician artists such as Castelao and Seoane.
