The Férveda de San Paio is located in the parish of Entrecruces.

The Outón river splits in two over the hard, black rock as it plunges from a height of over 40 meters.

It is a spectacle of water and foam. You will reach it by old paths known by the local people as “camiños reais”.

In its surroundings, we can enjoy the riverside vegetation and find the remains of old mills, now restored, and of what was the first hydroelectric plant of the town, which allowed to replace the public lighting of acetylene gas by electric light around 1915.

You can get to Férveda by the detour, on the road from Carballo to Santiago, which you will find near the borders of the parish of Entrecruces with Tordoia.
