This spa was already used in Roman times, where bathing facilities were built there. The modernisation works of the spa, which began in the middle of the last century, almost completely destroyed what remained of the old spas, known as the “ancient baths”.

The current thermal facilities are located within a leafy park, next to the right bank of the Ave river. The sulphur springs produce medicinal waters at a temperature of 32 degrees Celsius.

Classical thermalism

Thermalism is a natural therapy that complements other medical therapies.

It is with chronic diseases such as rheumatism, respiratory and skin diseases that thermal therapy emerges as a particularly effective clinical practice for health and well-being.

The spa technicians have the most up-to-date training to provide their clients with the most suitable treatment techniques such as hydromassage and air bubble baths, nozzle and Vichy showers, steam columns, irrigations, sprays and nebulisations, aerosols and thermal mud applications.

Thermal season: 1 April to 20 December.

Therapeutic indications of thermal waters: skin diseases, rheumatism, arthritis, intestinal and stomach diseases.

Properties of water: Hypothermic, hyposaline, bicarbonate and sodium, sulphuric and salicylic.
