Taking as its theme the natural heritage of Trás-os-Montes and Douro, the Vila Real Science Center seeks to contribute to interpreting, in the light of science, the formation and evolution of this vast and diverse territory.

The Vila Real Science Center seeks to awaken interest in natural sciences, promote the scientific and creative spirit and contribute to encouraging the spirit of citizenship towards the natural world that surrounds us.

The Science Center offers schools and teachers a diverse program of activities. The proposals are designed for the entire school audience, from pre-school to secondary education and provide an approach to various topics related to the curricular areas, thus allowing the consolidation of knowledge.

Consult the activities and the description of each one in advance, selecting those that best suit the group’s age group and scientific interests.

Teachers will be able to make a prior visit to the Science Center in order to prepare for the visit.
