On November 30th, between 9:30 and 17:00, the Vila Real City Council will hold a new edition of the Autumn Fair, an initiative whose main objective is to offer a space for coexistence and exchange between the different educational centres that, with the support of teachers, students and parents, will present seasonal products from the different areas of Vila Real in the Town Hall Square.
The Deputy Mayor, Alexandre Favaios, reaffirmed the importance of “continuing with this tradition of gathering and welcoming our schools in what is our living room, which is an excellent opportunity for them to strengthen ties with the community and show the excellent work they do throughout the year.”
The 2024 Autumn Fair will see the participation of various educational centres from the Morgado Mateus School Group, Diogo Cão School Group, APPACDM Sabrosa – Vila Real, São Pedro Secondary School, Nuclisol Jean Piaget, Agostinho Roseta Professional School, Santa Casa da Misericórdia, Santo António Social and Parish Centre, APCVR and Ribacorgo.
It should be noted that the Autumn Fair is one of the initiatives of the “Traditions in Bila” project, which aims to recover customs and traditions by promoting various activities and initiatives to make regional products known to the entire community.
