Carballo bread is, with good reason, one of the most famous in Galicia. A spongy bread, full of holes and very tasty, born from the wheat fields of Bergantiños and the waters of the Anllóns, which for centuries ground the wheat very finely to make the best flour.

If you want to know our bread, this weekend you have an excellent opportunity. In the area of Brea, known for the good work of its bakers, the Bread Festival will take place, one of our best-known gastronomic events, which will take place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th.

This festival, which was born more than thirty years ago, would not be possible without the involvement of the bakers of Brea. The rolls will be made and donated by the bakeries Nuria, Garcos, Mesejo and Lita.
