This is the first pilgrimage that takes place in the year and is composed by three groups of party-goers, one from the parish of Santa Marinha and two from Lugar da Rasa in the parish of Mafamude.
Both groups parade through the streets of the city with the figures and respective heads of Saint Gonçalo and Saint Cristóvão, leading behind them thousands of pilgrims whose, singing and preaching, give this pilgrimage a pagan character instead of the typical religious character.
