Tribute to all the Vilacondenses who, in Terras do Ultramar, fought for their homeland. The sculptural ensemble, inaugurated on June 10, 2010, was created by three Vilacondenses: Manuel Sousa Pereira, Eduardo Bompastor and João Macedo.
It consists of a central nucleus, namely a column which will perpetuate the names of the Vilacondenses soldiers who died overseas and the figure of a young man who symbolizes the courage and always generous gift of a youth who “there” left behind some of the best years of the Your lives.
