It was the main street until 1860, when the expansion of the town began in the Entrerrios area (Sarria and Celeiro), which intensified when the railway communication was consolidated in the years 1880-1882. Until well into the 20th century, the commercial and service area was located here. There are houses from the 18th century with coats of arms and others from the 19th century with balconies and galleries. Corpus Christi Day is the setting for the floral carpets, in the making of which the locals and visitors from all over the world collaborate.
