In August, the History Festival takes place in the incomparable setting of Bragança’s castle.

On these days it is possible to attend various shows, including parades and tournaments, but also participate in medieval games, workshops, demonstrations of medieval cuisine or guided tours. More than a dozen recreation companies and thematic areas and hundreds of professionals involved provide a memorable festival that celebrates the History of Portugal.
