Throughout the city and in some parts of the rural areas, on the walls, on the buildings, and on the streets that greet passersby, you can see touches of extraordinary creativity.
Armed with a graceful urban spirit, Bragança, through street art, has brought new life and joy to various public spaces and is already part of a global urban art platform.
With nearly a hundred creations, the SM’ARTE – Bragança Street Art Festival, which takes place biennially in June, has already brought renowned local, national, and international artists such as Bordalo II, Frederico Draw, Gonçalo Mar, Daniel Eime, The Caver, Glam, Duarte Saraiva, Trip Dtos, Cain Ferreras, and Leon Keer, among others. Additionally, the IPSS and schools in Bragança contribute to this creativity, namely the Agrupamento Escolar Emídio Garcia, the Escola Superior de Educação de Bragança, and the Escola Profissional Prática Universal.
