Between concerts, fireworks, a day dedicated to the rural world and a religious program, from the 18th to the 22nd of August, the Festivities of Bragança bring together thousands of people. The festivities begin on August 18th, at Eixo Atlântico Park.

The main day of the Bragança Festivities (August 21) is dedicated to livestock and agricultural activities, with the Local Breed Cattle Contest held at the “Venue for the Promotion and Valorization of Autochthonous Breeds”. At night, new musical performances, as well as the pyromusical show, fill Eixo Atlântico Park.

The festivities end on the municipal holiday, August 22nd, with celebrations dedicated to Our Lady of Graces, patron saint of Bragança. After the Eucharist in Bragança Cathedral, thousands of devotees from all over the region follow the Solemn Procession.
